When it comes to mascot , your first thought is probably animals, like Bing Dwen Dwen. But today the character we want to introduce is a little special.

For those who don’t know, it looks like a simple metal cart . But for some football fans, it is anything but ! It’s a Cincinnati celebrity, a beloved member of the “WhoDey” nation, and an unofficial mascot. And the Bengals are taking The Cart with them to Los Angeles for Sunday’s Super Bow .

The ‘3-tiers of ordinary’ started out as a mic stand for COVID outdoor interviews. The Cart was originally viewed as a symbol of the Bengals’ inadequacy on social media, due to the team’s tight budget.

Memes were made.

Jokes followed.

And the Bengals embraced it all!

The Bengals Cart even got its own song. By now it is likely a good deal farther west. The viral effect is doing some good beyond football. Its unofficial social media account raises money for Cincinnati charities.
