You might have seen a housefly, maybe even a superfly, but I bet you ain't never seen a jellyfish fly. In fact, unlike jellyfish that live in the water or on the beach, this one arose from the sky. On Friday, the launch of a SpaceX rocket from Cape Canaveral led to a jellyfish being observed. In fact, the jelly was not real but a visual effect that appears when a rocket is launched in the morning or in the evening. It reaches a height where the sun's rays illuminate the plume of gases that accompany it. This results in the illusion that the plume looks like the bell and tentacles of a giant sea monster.
